Yesterday, today and tomorrow

There are two days in every week we should not worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single word we've said - yesterday is gone. (remember this one, most important) The other day we shouldn't worry about is tomorrow, with its possible adversities, Its burdens, its large promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is beyond our control. Tomorrow's sun will rise either in splendour or behind a mask of clouds but it will rise. And until it does,we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn. This leaves only one day - today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad - it is the remorse of bitterness for something that happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow may bring. Let us, therefore, live one day at a time! I hope these words bring some sort of comfort and reality to you. You HAVE to forget the past and move on. You will never ever REALLY forget the past as it will always be there in your memory but what you HAVE to do is to come to terms with it. What happened is in the past. Thinking and mourning the past will never bring it back. All it will do is drive you deeper into despair. You have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on. Its not going to be easy as you have been thinking a lot about what happened and it has taken over your life but what you should concentrate on is what happens TODAY and make the most of it. You have to meet a new love. This may seem impossible right now and you may even feel like you are cheating on the memory of your fiance but you have to move on. You cannot live in your shell the rest of your life, can you? You really don’t want to do that, do you? So it is time, well past the time actually, to move on. You will never FORGET but you must ACCEPT what happened and make the best of the rest of your life. Remember – Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Make the best of it.
It is never too late to turn my life around, never!
Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

See yourself taking little baby steps, running or giant leaps in the direction of what you urgently like, want, prefer, wish, fancy, yearn, crave, desire, must, intend, goal, target, and end.
Feel yourself being decisive, focus, direct, aim, demand, discipline, command, effect, enjoin, exert, insist, intent, ordain, order, request, devote, commit, force, conviction, tenacity, will, strength, courage, determination, and resolve.
