Diabetes amongst South Asians

South Asians are 3 to 5 times more likely to have diabetes compared with other people according to Canadian Journal of Diabetes.

If you go to see a movie in Brampton, Ontario Canada, you will find ads about getting your diabetes checked for South Asians. Considering that risk of diabetes amongst South Asians is high.

Again, the only criticism that I have heard is that don’t take one solution and translate it into different languages. The health organizations need to look at the cultural context and customize the solutions, suggestions and remedies.
