South Asian women wanted for dangerous journey?

Breaking away from the norms and speaking about different issues that we normally don’t bring up can have serious repercussions for South Asian women.

There are many South Asian women to name any who are working quietly without revealing their own identity to bring about change through creating awareness about the evils in our society.

According to legend, this is the ad placed in a London newspaper in August 1914 by Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton.

“MEN WANTED FOR HAZARDOUS JOURNEY. SMALL WAGES, BITTER COLD, LONG MONTHS OF COMPLETE DARKNESS, CONSTANT DANGER, SAFE RETURN DOUBTFUL. HONOUR AND RECOGNITION IN CASE OF SUCCESS.”
