Why Being Politically Correct Is Killing Us

As most South Asian people will agree and know in their hearts that there is much silence about different issues in the community. Why Being Politically Correct Is Killing Us

We are so fearful of being:

  • Prejudiced
  • Stigmatized
  • Profiled negatively
  • Judged
  • the list can go on and on

At least, I personally know of someone who had abortion(s) because of having too many girls.

What happened during the flight from the homeland to here that we brain wash ourselves of our ways and believes?

There are those in the community who were born with a silver spoon, don’t know or neither care for these issues.

Of course, it is no everyone who is so barbaric.

No community is immune to abuse, murder and injustices.

Indian population hitting one billion, Pakistan roughly at 130 million and other South Asian countries, their 20% of bad is going to be blown out of proportion.

Their is cost to speaking up and who is ready to pay the price. May it be disdain from the family, co-workers or other industry players. If you are going to live, play and exist here, you better play by the rules or else.

This article and some of the response made me so angry.

For the fear of future collaboration or falling out of favour, who is going to go on air and say that if it is really happening in Canada, USA, UK, Australia or all over the world.

Why Being Politically Correct Is Killing Us

As embarrassing it might be in the developed world, however peopel are willing to admit and seek help.

If we don’t admit the truth to ourselves and others, how are we going to solve our problems?

Tomorrow, I will read this blog and perhaps mellow down my tone.

For now farewell to this blog to google crawlers for tonight…
